Context

In Pessac, the Association for the development of fair and united local exchanges based on fairness and solidarity has demonstrated for over ten years now that it is possible to consume differently, by positioning itself as responsible players, respectful of the environment and people.

Project

Created in 2004, the Terre d'Adèles association (Association for the development exchanges based on fairness and solidarity ) brings together different activities, in particular support for AMAP small-scale farming and short circuits (vegetable production, basket distribution), promotion of the solidarity economy (SEL ...), promotion of natural gardening and biodiversity, organization of café-chat, collective worksites, Christmas market cooking workshops, etc.

The associative and educational gardens of Adèles are located in Pessac near Bordeaux. The aim is to create social ties while promoting mutual aid.

"We want to live in a fair society. We have the will to be actors in our economic system. We support solidarity initiatives and allow citizens to get involved by being informed and by finding the means to concretize their societal choices. Thus, we act in our daily life, to positively influence our present and future lives. "

Terre d'Adèles Association

Project leaders

Terre D'ADELES was created by a dozen Pessac eco-citizens who enabled the distribution of the first ADELES baskets, the first "poultry" AMAP. Since 2017, there are 9 administrators in the association and the President is Thierry Hofer.

The Little Extra

An association that acts in all areas to try to promote alternative consumption and the values of solidarity while being respectful of its environment. For example, the association provides its members with small "private" plots, with prices adapted to each person's situation so that they can cultivate and increase their own food autonomy.
